Rotary morning club located in Westlake Village California meets Friday 7 am at the North Ranch Country Club.

Our club holds a speech contest each spring for local high school students on the value of the Rotary Four Way Test (of the things we think, say and do). We sponsor Rotary Interact service clubs at both Northwest High School and Westlake Academy; We provide scholarships for local graduating seniors based on school performance and community service.

Rotary and the IRA have been project partners since 2002. Diana White, a past district governor and member of the Rotary E-Club of the Caribbean 7020, says she got the idea for the story contest after a visit to the headquarters of Rotary International in Britain and Ireland (RIBI), which holds a number of well-publicized youth contests every year.

Essay entries will be accepted up to Friday, March 23, 2018. Winners will be invited to accept their award at the Rotary Club luncheons on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. The First Place winners in each school level will automatically qualify to enter the essay contest at the Rotary District 5240 level and may qualify for additional cash awards.

Morris Plains Rotary Club sponsored an essay contest for the fourth graders of Morris Plains schools.
